The Cave Singers
From Seattle, Washington
First Twin Cities show since since April 13, 2012 • Sixth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since October 2, 2007
From last.fm:
The Cave Singers is an American folk trio from Seattle, Washington. Their music is folk for a rainy day: surprising, yet cozy, sparse, yet harmonious, pleasing yet torturous. Rising from the ashes of Pretty Girls Make Graves after its disbandment in 2007, former PGMG-member Derek Fudesco teamed up with Pete Quirk (of Hint Hint) and Marty Lund (of Cobra High) and began playing in the Seattle area. Soon after the band's conception, The Cave Singers signed with Matador Records on June 11, 2007. Read more about The Cave Singers on Last.fm.
Blessed Feathers
From West Bend, Wisconsin
First Twin Cities show since since February 28, 2013 • Fourth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since September 17, 2011
From last.fm:

Together they furiously bang away at their small army of guitars, banjos, accordions, and whatever else they can get their hands on. Come see us in person. Shake our hands. We’d like that. Puddlegum (Bloomington, IN): "They’ll blow you away with the depths of their musings, then surprise you with tripped out vintage news reporter recordings, or a short speech advocating the need to end wars.
