It can be described as a blend of the band's roots in punk rock, its evolution to classic old school eighties-style hardcore infused with genres ranging from metal and industrial to rockabilly. There are several bands named "Obsession". 1. Heavy metal band formed in 1983 in New Haven, USA. Obsession features Mike Vescera, who would later sing for Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Loudness, Roland Grapow and The Reign of Terror, among others. 2. UK Gothic Rock band formed in 1982. 3. A house act from New Jersey, who released one single - "I Just Can't Quit Loving You" - in 1987. 4. An dance artist who has worked with Almighty Records - a label that "pops up" tunes using a cover artist or sometimes remixes the original production for the dancefloor.
