Get Scared consists of Nick Matthews, Johnny B, and Bradley Lloyd. From Layton, UT, the band came together in winter of 2008, writing, recording, engineering, and touring. After self-releasing their first EP and creating an internet buzz with their unique and true-to-style video for their track ‘If She Only Knew Voodoo Like I Do’, the band was put on notice by Universal Motown Records and quickly signed to the label. There are two bands that have gone by the name Dr. Acula. 1) Dr. Acula was a deathcore band from Long Island, New York. 2) Dr. Acula was the original name of the band Bear vs. Shark. 1) Dr. Acula was a deathcore band from Long Island, New York. The band's name comes from a joke written by stand-up comedian Mitch Hedberg. Most of their earlier songs are named after books in R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS series. Dr. Acula formed in September 2005 and quickly accumulated a following thanks to non-stop DIY touring, energetic performances, and not taking themselves too seriously. From playing Vans Warped Tour two years in a row, to playing with national acts such as: Saosin, Aiden, Drop Dead, Gorgeous, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Girl On Fire is also no stranger to the road, having booked multiple West Coast and Northwest tours over the last two years.
