New Politics: David and Soren had been writing songs together for over three years (for respective solo albums that have yet to see the light of day) when they realized that they had unintentionally started a band. The pair had experimented with every imaginable style of music (every imaginable style) and suddenly recognized that the combination of their musical sensibilities, as witnessed on the 300 songs theyd penned together, created something new and interesting. Magic Man began as a duo who grew out of spare moments and idle hours during a summer spent volunteering on different organic farms. Their debut album Real Life Color was released in 2010. Three years since the release of Real Life Color, Magic Man has evolved from two college students behind a laptop into a five-person band. Magic Man has released their newest song Paris Feb.14 2013. The band originally comprised of Alex Caplow and Sam Lee added Justine Bowe, Daniel Radin, and Nolan Robert into the mix, and have added a new indie pop/rock style to their synth-pop roots. Sleeper Agent is an American band from Bowling Green, Kentucky, created in 2009. Their debut album, Celabrasion, was released on September 27, 2011, following the digital release of the album in August. Rolling Stone magazine noted the group as a "band to watch" prior to the LP's release. The group's name refers to "Battlestar Galactica". History After a few "unremarkable gigs" as a musical duo, guitarist Tony Smith and drummer Justin Wilson recruited Alex Kandel after discovering her working as a barista, "doing Adele covers on open mic nights.
