Bishop Allen is an American indie rock band which formed in Brooklyn, New York, United States in 2003. The band's core members are Justin Rice and Christian Rudder, who are supported both on stage and in the studio by a rotating cast of musicial collaborators. Currently the band consists of Justin Rice (vocals, guitar), Christian Rudder (guitar), Darbie Nowatka-Rice (keyboards, violin), Keith Poulson (bass) and Michael Tapper (drums). Ancient Mariner is the collective title of works of American instrumentalist Brian Beyke. Brian is an American instrumental (pseudo-ambient/pseudo-fingerstyle) solo guitarist, who began writing in Louisville, Kentucky in 2006. Brian relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004 for college and while on summer break started writing his first electric, looping style songs he’s come to be known for. Brian quickly gained recognition for his live show where it was shown he could perform all the songs layered with multiple guitar and percussion tracks with out accompaniment.
