There are two bands with this name. One is from Madison, Wi and is on the Science of Sound and the other is from France. The lead singer of Whatfor, Michael Sienkowski, is also the drummer for another Science of Sound band Sleeping in the Aviary and the band released the album Sooner Late then Never in 2008. Whatfor is also the name of the band created by the 2nd French season of the popular reality-TV show Popstars aired on RTL Group TV channel Métropole 6 (better known as M6) in fall 2002.
