From last.fm:

Oberhofer started in 2008 as the recording project of Brad Oberhofer. After moving from his native Tacoma, Washington to New York City, Oberhofer attended New York University to study music composition.[1] In the style of Jon Bon Jovi, the young singer adopted his own name as the title of the project. Although the band has since gone through various lineup formations, the name has remained the same because Oberhofer writes and records all the music himself.[2] Read more about Oberhofer on Last.fm.

Pond

From Perth, Australia

First Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar

» More artist info on MN Live

From last.fm:

There are at least three artists with this name: 1. POND is an Australian band made up of, Jay Watson, Cam Avery (both of Tame Impala), Nick Allbrook (ex-Tame Impala), Joe Ryan, and Jamie Terry. Pond is free spirited Psychedelic Garage-Glam of the highest order from some very young, very talented 'Perth-onalities'. It all presents an opportunity for the members to change instruments more freely live experiment with recording. Pond is a hard band to pin down, not that you'll want to. From last.fm:

Dinosaur Feathers is a trio from Brooklyn who create "‘50s/early-‘60s-inspired pop music." Greg and Derek sang a capella together at Carleton College in Minnesota. They built a following in New York after releasing a free EP on their website and playing shows on their own and as openers for other artists. After several line-up changes, the group will release their debut album in March 2010, followed by an appearance at SXSW. Read more about Dinosaur Feathers on Last.fm.
