Now at 21 years of age, she’s in college, and her writing abilities just keep getting better. At 12 years of age, Brynne finally entered rap’s first stage as a freestyler, battling other lunchroom MCs for lyrical dominance. A self-proclaimed daughter of the Midwest, singer/songwriter K.Raydio grew up in a household full of musical influences. Born in Evanston, Illinois, she was pushed creatively by her singer/guitarist mother and her Memphis-bred father, the son of a blues musician. Although outgoing and adventurous as a child (she's a Leo after all), K.Raydio also suffered from a tragic flaw: stage fright.
