The Gear Daddies is a band from Austin, Minnesota that enjoyed moderate success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its members were Randy Broughten (electric and steel guitar), Nick Ciola (bass), Billy Dankert (drums and vocals), and Martin Zellar (guitar and vocals). Their most mainstream success was when they played Late Night with David Letterman in 1991. The Billys are a country music band in Anaheim, CA. They give multiple performances daily at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon in Frontierland, Disneyland. While called on their only album as The Billys, on the Disneyland entertainment flyers, they are listed as Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. They are a popular show at Disneyland, known for the comedy, audience interaction, and of course country music.
