There are at least two bands known as "The Drowners." 1) A garage rock/punk band from NYC. 2) This is the bio for the band from Sweden. At the place where pop meets rock and where melodies intertwine with raw power, thats where we find THE DROWNERS. Shaped by the extreme weather conditions of northern Sweden and the boredom/comfort of small city life, the band emerged in the middle of the Britpop explosion in the early nineties.
