2008 saw the coming together of a group of friends to start The Vampirates. Influenced by bands such as Cancer Bats, Come Back Kid and Pennywise. The Vampirates have staked their claim as one of the most impressive live acts in the nation. Their intense sound gained the attention of Kevin Call of Comeback Kid, who worked closely with the band to produce the 2009 EP 'Cast Aside'. To help gain national exposure The Vampirates have continued to tour strongly.
