NEW RELEASE: We Built a Fortress on Short Notice CD/LP street date tues, nov 6th, 2012 self-evident are signed to US label, doubleplusgood as well as Stiff Slack Records in Japan. In the time since their last release (2009’s Endings), Minneapolis trio Self-Evident have been busy touring. They spent a month playing shows throughout Europe, in addition to several US tours. There is more than one artist with this name: 1) An American metal / black metal band that was formed in the late winter of 1997. Founding members Hellspawn (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Talon (Percussion), and Tora (Bass/Vocals) recorded “From The Ashes” a 2 song demo featuring Sarah Gibbs on rhythm guitar.
