Direct Hit is a pop punk band made up of members living in Milwaukee, Wis. and Chicago, Ill. that worship Andrew WK, The Ramones, and The Thermals in equal measure. Starting in 2008, they released a series of EPs for free online at their bandcamp, called DH#1, DH#2, DH#3, DH#4, and DH#5, from which a full-length album called DOMESPLITTER was compiled in 2011. Radon was one of two bands* that helped turn around the Gainesville punk music scene in 1991, and blazed the trail for bands like Hot Water Music and Less Than Jake a few years later! (*Spoke was the other band!) They played pop punk with an edge and a purpose, throwing in some politics and some harmonica for good measure. The first Radon LP was a self-titled live album.
