Today Is the Day
From Orland, Maine
First Twin Cities show since since April 6, 2013 • First Nether Bar show • Third Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since November 15, 2008
From last.fm:
Today Is The Day is an experimental rock/metal band founded by Steve Austin and Brad Elrod. The band saw its beginnings take root in Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990s when Today Is The Day released their debut EP, entitled How To Win Friends And Influence People, in 1992. This self-financed release garnered the attention of Amphetamine Reptile Records (AmRep) who signed the band (at this time consisting of Austin on vocals and guitar, Brad Elrod on drums and percussion, and Mike Herrell on bass) in February 1993 and released the full-length Supernova later that year. Lazer/Wulf
From Athens, Georgia
First Twin Cities show since since October 21, 2013 • First Nether Bar show • Third Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since June 3, 2013
From last.fm:
Lazer/Wulf is an instrumental metal trio, sometimes with vocals, or maybe an evil funk group with thrash roots, or a jazz trio from Hell. Whatever it is, it's not the easiest thing to describe. Imagine a giant trampoline rigged to explode: fun for everybody, but likely to kill you at any moment. Lazer/Wulf on Last.fm.
Flintlock
From Minneapolis
First show since since March 1, 2015 • First Nether Bar show • 10th show on MN Live's calendar since September 19, 2008
From last.fm:
There are at least two bands with this name: 1) A British pop/rock/glam band, similar to the Bay City Rollers. 2) Flintlock is a bluegrass band from northwest Indiana. Long time friends, each of the members have played with several bands over the years. In 1997 the band Flintlock was formed. Leader Rick Carter plays guitar, does many of the vocals, and writes many of the band's original songs. Joining him are Dane Schuyler on fiddle and vocals, Jeff Bailey on bass, John Baker on banjo and vocals, and James Patton on mandolin, guitar, and vocals. Read more about Flintlock on Last.fm.
