The Oklahoma City band Broncho crafts sing-along anthems that combine punk and garage-rock. You could make all the likely comparisons to punk bands of the '70s — Ramones, Iggy Pop and The Stooges — or even bring up the new-school garage-rock undertones of The Strokes and The Strange Boys. Low Litas, originally the name given to the musical brain child of Mandii Larsen (lead vocals/guitar). Larsen performed solo with her laptop and guitar until adding Liz Wattoff (drums) to the project. They played as a duo for a bit before adding bass. The current line up is Larsen on guitar, Wattoff on drums and Penny Pitchlynn on bass. Heavily influenced by the mind altering sounds of My Bloody Valentine and the likes, Larsen's visceral guitar is dripping wet with effects that both pierce and pulsate.
