Formed in 2002, The Copyrights are a pop-punk band hailing from Carbondale, Southern Illinois made up of Brett Hunter (vocals, guitar) Jeff Funburg (vocals, guitar), Adam Fletcher (vocals, bass), and Luke McNeill (drums). They have released five full-length albums and four EPs and are currently signed to Red Scare Industries. Their latest album, North Sentinel Island, was released August 9th, 2011. Although influenced by artists such as Jawbreaker and Hot Water Music, it would be safe to say that they have their own Midwestern take on punk. Expect big things from Arms Aloft. In 2008 the band released their first 7'', "Comfort At Any Cost" on Dead Format. In 2012 the band released their first full length "Sawdust City" on Kiss of Death.
