From last.fm:

Stiff Little Fingers are a punk band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, formed in 1977. They started out as a schoolboy band called Highway Star (named after the Deep Purple song), doing rock covers, until they discovered punk. In 1983 they split up after six years and four albums, although they reformed four years later, in 1987. Despite major personnel changes, they are still touring and recording as of 2011. From last.fm:

The two decades since the band's inception have seen music critics call The Magnolias "Minneapolis' scruffy also-rans" and "little brothers" of more well-known Twin Cities groups The Replacements, Husker Du and Soul Asylum. And although The Magnolias were a few years younger than these bands, passage of time has revealed what fans knew since the Reagan years at their best, The Magnolias were second to none. From last.fm:

There are two bands called The Slow Death. 1) The Slow Death is a melodic band from Blue Mountains, Australia with both male and female vocals, formed by Stuart Prickett (mastermind of Elysium and Stone Wings) in 2007. Their style is ultra slow death/doom with melodic riffs, powerful deep growls, grandiose and tragical lyrics. The atmosphere is mournful and dark. The guitars are magnificent with perfect riffs, amazing melodies and rhythm changes. The melodies are melancholic passages of perpetual depression. Read more about The Slow Death on Last.fm.
