Maeth is the name of a heavy/progressive/psychedelic band from St. Paul, Minnesota. Their lineup currently consists of four members: Boone Epstein (Bass), Sam Tygiel (Guitar/flute), David Ports (Guitar), and Jay Schwartz (Drums). To date, they have released two albums: Horse Funeral (2012) and Oceans Into Ashes (2013). They draw from an eclectic blend of influences and their own diverse musical backgrounds and combine them into a uniquely heavy, psychedelic/blackened doom sound, often referred to as "Crunch n' Cream. There are at least two bands called Gloss. 1) Gloss were a Liverpool-based indie-pop band that released one album in 2001. The group's multi-national line-up included Paul Cavanagh (guitar), Martin Lynch (bass), Paul Maguire (drums), Jonas Theis (keyboards) and Heidrun Anna (vocals). They wrote and recorded songs that are timeless pop - rich in melody and drawn from influences such as The Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, Television, Stereolab, Barry White, Carole King, Blondie, Françoise Hardy, Air and Madonna.
