Holy Wave are a psych outfit from Austin, TX, who, in the words of Austin Psych Fest curators, ¨carefully combine fluid forms of sacred surf sounds, droning riffs and group vocals that haunt and harmonize in equal measure.¨ The debut album, ´Knife Hits´ was released in 2011, and was quickly followed up by an EP, titled ´The Evil Has Landed´ the following year. Chui Wan is formed by frontman Yan Yulong and female bass player Wu Qiong in 2010. Later on guitar player Liu Xinyu and drummer Vincent joined in. But Vincent had to return to his home country in September and in came Josh as his replacement. The first gigs took place in D-22. Yan Yulong and Liu Xinyu also have other joint projects beside Chui Wan. The name Chui Wan 吹万 was taken from classical work 《齐物论》 by philosopher Zhuangzi 庄子. Read more on Last.fm

Flavor Crystals are a psychedelic shoegaze band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. After years of exploration and weirdness, they added bubbly liquid and jelloed into a real band, recording their debut album On Plastic as a document of the sleepy wobbly blurry dreamscape vibe they found together. The Magic Castles are a psychedelic rock band which formed in 2006 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The band is the musical project of songwriter Jason Edmonds. The band has released three albums, "The Lore of Mysticore" (2008), "Dreams of Dreams of Dreams" (2009) and "Songs of the Forest" (2009) all of which are out of print. Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre signed the band to his imprint "A" Records in 2011 and their eponymous fourth record (a collection of previously released tunes) was released in 2012.
