Septic Flesh split-up in 2003 and then reunited in 2007 as Septicflesh. The name change to "Septicflesh" has been confirmed by Christos in a Lords of Metal interview. The reason behind the decision was that it looked better, although the meaning was the same. Biography Athens, Attica, Greece (1990 – 2003, 2007 – present) Hailing from Athens, Attica, Greece, Septic Flesh was founded in 1990. Fleshgod Apocalypse is a death metal band from Rome, Italy formed in 2007 by Hour of Penance member Francesco Paoli (Drums/Guitars/Backing vocals) , Christiano Trionfera (Guitars) and Paolo Rossi (Vocals/Bass, Promaetheus Unbound). Francesco Struglia joined the band after on Drums but left in 2008 due to personal interest change and other commitments.
