Sebadoh
From Saxonville, Massachusetts
First Twin Cities show since since November 11, 2013 • First Entry show • Fourth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since March 19, 2007
From last.fm:
Sebadoh is an indie-rock band originally formed in 1986 in Westfield, Massachusetts, by Dinosaur Jr. bass player Lou Barlow and Eric Gaffney. The band began as a side project, but when Barlow was kicked out of Dinosaur Jr in 1989, Sebadoh became his full-time concern. Along with such bands as Pavement and Guided by Voices, Sebadoh helped pioneer lo-fi, a style of indie-rock characterized by low-fidelity recording techniques, often on four-track machines. Grant Hart
From St Paul
First show since since March 17, 2014 • First Entry show since December 22, 2011 • First show supporting a touring headliner since June 27, 2012 • 28th show on MN Live's calendar since September 2, 2005
From last.fm:
Grant Hart is best known as the drummer (and singer and songwriter) in Hüsker Dü. Following the band's breakup, Hart released a solo album, Intolerance, on which he played most of the instruments himself. In the mid-90s, he formed the band Nova Mob, which released two albums before disbanding. Hart subsequently returned to his solo career. Much has been made of the volatile relationship Hart had with Husker Du guitarist Bob Mould and the band's acrimonious break-up with fans of the band spliting into two camps and searching for cutting remarks on the solo albums of both men.
