Flavor Crystals are a psychedelic shoegaze band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. After years of exploration and weirdness, they added bubbly liquid and jelloed into a real band, recording their debut album On Plastic as a document of the sleepy wobbly blurry dreamscape vibe they found together. Their second album, "Ambergris" was produced by recording legend Kramer and released by Second Shimmy Records on June 23, 2008. Read more about Flavor Crystals on Last.fm.

From last.fm:
Barely out of their teens, Panther Ray's Joey Johnson, Evan Kramer, Daniel Ries, and Andy Rockwood are childhood friends floating in place in time where the weird underground recording geniuses of the 60s and the 90s share a meal. Apparently that place is somewhere in the outer limits of their hometown of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Instruments and vocal mics trade hands regularly as the four multi-instrumentalists celebrate a poly amorous cacophony of junk psychedelia, youth-powered garage rock, exuberant pop weirdness, and experimental studio wizardry. From last.fm:
In late 2003, just two years after 9/11, The OaKs's Ryan Costello sold everything he owned, joined a humanitarian organization and moved to Afghanistan. Costello lived there for two years, working in the Central Afghan mountains with returned refugees, teaching them creative agricultural techniques and becoming fluent in their native language, Farsi. Late at night, while the dust storms blocked out the stars and rattled the windows, he would sit and work out impressions of what he had seen and heard that day on his acoustic guitar. American Cream
From St Paul
First show since since February 7, 2016 • First Turf Club show since May 14, 2015 • 33rd show on MN Live's calendar since June 23, 2010
From last.fm:
There are two bands called American Cream - 1. American Cream is a rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada: American Cream seeks to resurrect the classic rock and roll sound of the sixties and seventies and combine it with the unforgettable and timeless indie rock of today. With influences that go back to the onset of the experimental age of rock and roll, they make it a point to have an organic approach to songwriting by being less electronically dependent. Using relatable modern melodies and unpredictable transitions, a seemingly perfect accidental combination of sounds is created. Read more about American Cream on Last.fm.
