Their high-energy concerts have attracted an ever-growing, dedicated fan following. The band members have referenced inspirations such as Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Ralph Stanley. Lee began singing as a small child as a member of the congregation of a local church and later with the church's choir. In his teens he began singing secular music, including blues, R&B and soul.
