Richelieu Nyeswah Morris (Rich Garvey) was born April 7th, 1987 in Monrovia, Liberia. A country in the heart of West Africa, as well as the heat of a Civil War. At the age of 6 years old, his Uncle, mother and him escaped the Civil War to nearby Ivory Coast seeking refuge; leaving his father behind. His Father decided to stay in Monrovia and had severed ties with his mother; leaving the state of their relationship bitter. First hand, he witnessed the brutality of massacres and broken families. The group encountered regional success in the 1970s and have become more widely known since the re-release of their material on CD. 2) Catalyst are an indie rock band from San Francisco, CA.
