There are multiple bands called Bane: 1)A hardcore band from Worcester, Massachusetts. They began as a side project between Aaron Dalbec (then of Converge) and Damon Bellardo. Aaron approached Matt Firestone to sing and they played under the moniker of Gateway for a few shows, before Firestone departed to focus on other projects. Dalbec then approached Aaron Bedard (who had previously sang for the Worcester, Massachusetts hardcore band Backbone) about singing for Bane. They went into the studio in December 1995 with a few friends and released a 5-song demo. Read more about Bane on Last.fm.
Terror

From last.fm:
Many bands with the same name: 1) Terror, a hardcore band from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in early 2002. Though the group consider themselves a "hardcore" band, guitarist Doug Weber says Terror, "sounds like all of the old metal bands I used to listen to. It's just not crazy Swedish metal or something, it sounds like old thrash." Terror has been very successful in their time as a band. Their album One with the Underdogs sold over 40,000 copies. They have also been on tours throughout Europe, Australia, Brazil and Japan. Read more about Terror on Last.fm.
Naysayer
From Richmond, Virginia
First Twin Cities show since since November 10, 2011 • Third Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since June 20, 2010
From last.fm:
The Naysayer is the home of the bare songs of Anna Padgett. Sadness and self-deprecating humor alternate with a rollicking “shove-it-up-your-ass” attitude. Anna’s delicate guitar playing is complimented by sparse arrangements of varied instruments. The Naysayer was first born to Anna and Cynthia Nelson (Retsin, Ruby Falls). For Deathwhisker (Carrot Top, 2000), and Heaven, Hell, or Houston (Carrot Top, 2002), Anna was joined by Cynthia as well as Tara Jane O’Neil (TJO, Retsin, Rodan).
