Owl City is an American electropop musical project by Adam Young. Young started out making music in 2007 in his basement in his hometown of Owatonna, Minnesota, United States, later developing a following through his MySpace profile before being signed to Universal Republic. Young has released four albums under the Owl City moniker: "Maybe I'm Dreaming" (2008), "Ocean Eyes" (2009), "All Things Bright and Beautiful" (2011) and "The Midsummer Station" (2012). Matthew Koma was born on June 2, 1987 he is an American musician and singer-songwriter. Koma was born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, New York and has strongly been Inspired by Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen's music. Koma started his music career as a punk rocker, later transitioning into a mixture of genres that range from pop and hip-hop to EDM. His first song that was released was 'Parachute', followed by 'She' and then 'One and Stars.'
