Theres at least 2 bands named The Crash 1) A band hailing from Turku, Finland, composed of Teemu Brunila (vocals/guitars), Samuli Haataja (bass/vocals) and Erkki Kaila (drums). At the end of the last century The Crash got their first album out: "Comfort Deluxe". The most well known was probably "Sugared" with a stylish music video that actually won some awards in Finland (Gayest Video in Finland Award by Vinoraati). The band toured internationally as well, and word spread around. In 2002 the second album "Wildlife" came out, "Lauren caught my eye" could be heard all over Europe. The Ericksons
From Minneapolis
First show since since September 8, 2014 • First Varsity show • 38th show on MN Live's calendar since April 28, 2009
From last.fm:
Brooklyn-based folk duo The Ericksons claim a smorgasbord of disparate influences, from the usual suspects (Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams et al.) to the less obvious, such as Radiohead and Yo La Tengo. But it is the joining of those seemingly contrasting inspirations that ultimately produces the pair’s sparkling take on the well-trod paths of American folk songwriting. With a keen appreciation of Americana storytelling and a gift for heart-wrenching melodicism and stunning harmonic twists, their sound is a perfect marriage of tradition and modernism." (Dan Bolles, Seven Days) Read more about The Ericksons on Last.fm.
