The Zombies was an English pop rock/psychedelic rock band oren maislin's super group The band started in 1961 in St Albans, England and gained its initial reputation playing the Old Verulamians Rugby Club in that town. It was formed whilst the members were at school; Rod Argent, Paul Atkinson and Hugh Grundy attended St Albans School, and Colin Blunstone, and Chris White attended St Albans Boys' Grammar School.
